ADR DISTRIBUTORS was established in 2012 and now over a decade later, boasts a headcount of thirty employees. Our technical support and our versatility allow us to adjust to our customers specific requirements.
Our company offers high end, quality products related to automation; resistance welding; cables and dresspacks; robot perception; vision systems and maintenance plans.
We place high value on the relationship we hold with our customers, suppliers, and staff. We operate within strict legal and ethical guidelines, and we display honesty and fairness in all our dealing with others.
We commit ourselves to the transformation agenda of the current situation in South Africa and will continue to this cause.
To this end, We have aligned our ADR General Strategy on Business Objectives to FOUR Important Government Imperatives:
1. Ownership – ADR transformed from 0% to 100% Black Owned Company with majority shares held by a woman. These new owners have injected substantial capital to the business in order to fast track the business strategy and planned growth due the empowerment status of the business.
2. Localisation/ Local Content – ADR has positioned itself not only as product importers but also as the preferred home-grown supplier with local content value adding benefits through securing production-line maintenance contracts with VW, MBSA, and ISUZU. This strategy has assisted ADR to safe-guard OEM business and products supplies with full-time ADR shift personnel.
3. Industrialisation – We are located within a 1500 square meter building with space available allowing flexibility for growth. We have our own in-house manufacturing footprint and 100 square meters of assembly hall for rebuilds/refurbishments and welding trials.
4. Skills Development - ADR technical leadership members are all qualified artisans, being our Technical Sales Reps supporting sales, problems solving and attending to call-outs. Included in this is the Manufacturing Superintendent and Site Supervisors. We are constantly implementing additional imperative staff training to keep us ahead of the competition and offer leading services and sales to OEMs and/or customers.
