Electric clamps are safer alternatives to pneumatic clamps, utilising a direct current motor with extra-low voltage protection. They feature a durable trapezoidal thread spindle, making them compact and sturdy, and serve as a powerful option compared to traditional compressed air standards.
The mini clamps are compact tools that use the knee-lever principle to effectively clamp and grip small to medium-sized components. Their lightweight design is achieved through mono-block construction, integrating mechanical and pneumatic components into a durable aluminium housing. Available cylinder sizes range from 16 to 40 mm, offering clamping forces up to approximately 800 N. Optional magnetically-operated limit switches enhance functionality.
TÜNKERS standard clamps (sizes 50 to 80) provide clamping and gripping forces up to 4 kN with an enclosed design. They feature robust construction with needle roller bearings for durability in high load cycles (up to 3 million). The slim oblong-section cylinder enhances accessibility for spot welding guns. All standard knee-lever clamps include integrated limit switches for easy replacement and adjustment, and a manual feed option is also available.

These clamps use a centring pin and an integrated securing pin to position components accurately. Their design combines clamping and centring functions, making them effective compact gripping tools in robotic systems. Custom under-body clamping solutions can be developed for high-strength steel and aluminium components, utilising compatible surface-treated centring pins.
